USB PD3.1 DRP Total Solution for Battery System
The core of this solution is the CY53781, a highly integrated USB Type-C PD3.1 DRP (Dual-Role Power) controller featuring bidirectional power path management and PD protocol communication. The primary functional blocks are as follows:
- Bidirectional Power Path Control: Manages the flow of electricity in both directions.
- Dynamic Load Management (Load Distribution): Balances and distributes power across loads in real-time.
- Path Selection Circuit (Current Path Circuit): The circuitry responsible for routing current through the appropriate paths.
- Controller Feedback & Protection: Provides system monitoring, feedback loops, and safety safeguards.
Application examples are embedded monitor & mobile vehicle , power tool , wireless speaker , POS terminals , and portable monitor etc.
